Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus on 5 May 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one of which was named Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She's won two more Majors in this category, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. Dieter Kindlmann became her trainer from the month of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman is coaching her for the past year. Her top idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
